Accreditation: media representatives who have previously made their registration online for other events of the Portuguese Presidency don't need to register again. To those who have not yet registered online we advise them to do so as soon as possible. Last minute accreditation at the venue is subject to delay, which can be more than two hours, and can even be refused for security reasons. Therefore, please pick up your cards in advance to avoid waiting lines.

Media representatives who are accredited for this Summit have free access to the Media Centre, within the indicated scheduled opening hours. Access to other areas where the programme of the Summit is taking place is restricted and media representatives will have to be escorted to get into these areas. The accreditation card is personal and non transferable and must be used visibly at all times, in all the areas where the Meeting is taking place. Loss of this card must be immediately reported to the Information Desk or the Accreditation Centre.

Vehicle parking Media representatives who bring their own cars can use a car park – Parque da Gare do Oriente – 300 metres from the Media Centre.
Next to the Media Centre there is a park for technical vehicles. Access to this park will be closed on the 18th, between 16h00 and 17h30 and on the 19th, between 08h30 and 10h00.
Due to space limitation, access to these parks will be given after the application and confirmation of available spaces.
Access cards to these parks will be given from the 16th, at the Accreditation Centre.

Media Centre: The Media Centre is located in the building of Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), next to Pavilhão Atlântico.

Equipment: The working area for the written press is equipped with 800 individual workstations with telephone, wireless access to the internet and 400 cable accesses. Some working stations are also equipped with ISDN/RDIS lines. Computers, printers, faxes and photocopying machines for shared use are also available.
Working stations are used on a first-come-first-served basis.
Radio and television booths are equipped with pool access, internet access, a telephone and a television. Radio booths also have ISDN/RDIS lines.

Radio and Television Host Broadcaster

Image coverage: Photographic reporters and cameramen have access to the events set in the programme when accompanied by a member of the Organisation. Due to space limitations, some events will be covered only by RTP/Host Broadcaster and by the Presidency’s official photographer.
Images of the Meeting will be made available by RTP/Host Broadcaster. Through the side of the Portuguese Presidency, Media representatives will have access to the photos of the Meeting, exclusively for editorial use, made available by Lusa Agency – Host Photographer.
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV): The Closed Circuit Television system, available in all areas of the Media Centre, broadcasts the main events, transportation and briefing schedules and other useful information.
Interviews: Requests for interviews must be made directly to the Delegations or the Liaison Officer, whose contacts are available at the Media Centre. For security reasons, the area reserved for interviews is located in the Media Centre or surrounding area.
Press Conferences and Briefings: A press conference room was allocated to each country, situated in the Media Centre.
The Media Team is in charge of the preparation of these rooms. Therefore, it is necessary to inform the Organization of the briefing times for each country, by telephone: +351 91 386 79 74 – Daniel Sêrro
Briefings announcements will be made by the Organisation / Media through the closed circuit television (CCTV), upon request of the Delegations.
Access to the Briefing and the Presidency’s Press Conference rooms is free for all the accredited Media representatives.
The Presidency’s press Conferences may be followed live by audio and video through the Presidency’s web page www.eu2007.pt and the closed circuit television – CCTV.
