This Conference organised by the Portuguese Presidency will gather experts on Gender Equality, Gender Violence and Trafficking in Human Beings that will debate and share best practices among member states in order to foster the development of public policies and legislation following the european and international legislation and guidelines such as the “EU Plan on Best Practices, Standards and Procedures for Combating and Preventing Trafficking in Human Beings” and the “Warsaw Convention” - Council of Europe, among others.
It also aims to develop support networks among the different entities and agents that work to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings at national and european level.
