Getting there
The Atlantic Pavilion is at the very heart of the Parque das Nações, in an area of Lisbon which was totally rebuilt to host Expo 98. The building is a symbol of the city, not only on account of its striking architecture, but also because it has been the scene of countless concerts, shows and sports events.
The Atlantic Pavilion is ideally located, and has excellent connections, since it lies at the meeting point of the main highways serving the east of Lisbon: the city ring road (CRIL), the Vasco da Gama Bridge and the North-South expressway. It is also located close to excellent modern public transport, including the Tagus ferry terminal and the Oriente railway station which is a interchange for the public transport networks: Metro, rail, buses, taxis, coaches, and a direct (five-minute) connection to Lisbon International Airport.
